有些令人惊讶的是,新版MB和MBP的处理器性能实际上并没有改变。新的NVIDIA芯片组和更快的DDR3内存对提高处理器效能没有帮助。
这个结果为什么惊人呢?通过其他硬件的更新,苹果在没有升级芯片的情况下更好地发挥了芯片组和内存的处理器效能。但这里更换了芯片组和内存后的效能基本上 是一样的(某些情况下还有下降)。我想NVIDIA还有很长的路要走(至少是相对于Intel来说),才能完全发挥芯片组的效能。
但这是一次失败的升级么?很难说。虽然NVIDIA的芯片组和Intel的芯片组比较起来对处理器效能的提升没有太大作用,但是在图形处理方面确实大大超 过Intel。提升的图形处理能力对MacBook来说是非常大的进步,也使得MacBook在人们眼里变成小号的MacBook Pro.
加上新式的、更加坚固的外壳,用户得到的是一次引人注目的升级。
